市調：軟性OLED減用玻璃

（中央社記者潘智義台北2014年3月17日電）雖然市場對軟性有機發光二極體（OLED）面板看法不一，但專業市調機構Displaybank指出，軟性OLED對面板廠而言，可減少玻璃基板使用量，降低製造成本。

Displaybank表示，雖然軟性OLED面板成長不如預期，但與既有一般OLED相較，軟性OLED顯示面板可自由變化外形，擴大產品應用層次。

Displaybank強調，為開拓軟性OLED面板市場，須掌握可替代玻璃的基板以及封裝製程技術。2010年以前業界曾推出使用金屬箔基板的試產品，但柔軟度有限，且表面粗糙，近期已改採用塑膠材質基板。

封裝方面，軟性OLED面板從塑膠薄膜，轉到薄膜鍍膜等多元技術發展。
