【時報-台北電】微軟的Windows XP作業系統已於今年四月份正式退休，微軟也宣布不再為Windows XP提供任何升級以及安全漏洞的修補，期待廣大的Windows XP用戶會傾向於升級至新版作業系統。不過根據多家網路數據分析機構的統計資料顯示，目前依舊有很多用戶對於Windows XP情有獨鍾！

根據StatCounter機構所提出的統計資料，截至2014年6月為止，Windows XP的全球市占率還有16.29%，甚至是僅次於Windows 7的第二大作業系統。微軟的最新版作業系統Windows 8以及Windows 8.1只能排到第四、第五名，落後於蘋果的Mac OS X。（新聞來源：中時電子報 黃慧雯／綜合報導）
