英國一名孕婦誤信好友讒言，忍痛和男友分手，但想不到數天後，發現好友不但是男友新歡，更已懷孕，男友和對方一起組織新家庭，自己卻孤伶伶待產。

英國《鏡報》報導，29歲女子柯爾（Kirsty Cole）和33歲德摩爾（Becci Dugmore）相識十年，情同姊妹。柯爾今年4月懷孕19周時，因卵巢囊腫破裂有生命危險，要進行緊急手術並住院6周，但男友只是照顧了她兩天，便以工作為由沒再出現，幸好好友不辭辛勞照顧她。

柯爾出院後聽從德摩爾意見，和男友分手，但德摩爾自此失蹤，數天後才發現，她竟然和前男友同居，更已懷孕。對於被男友和「好姊妹」背叛，柯爾感到十分痛心。但經歷一場大病後，她明白能活著已是最大福氣，會獨自面對數周後的分娩，堅強活下去。（國際中心╱綜合外電報導）
