拚虧轉盈 雅芳裁600人

（中央社台北2014年6月24日電）彭博報導，全球最大化妝品直銷商雅芳產品公司（Avon Products Inc.US-AVON）打算裁員600人，執行長麥柯伊（SherilynMcCoy）欲削砍成本，以力拚虧轉盈。

總部位在紐約的雅芳昨天發布聲明指出，裁員主要集中在經營部門與北美業務，每年有望節省稅前成本5000萬至5500萬美元。裁員將帶來最多5000萬美元稅前支出。

麥柯伊不斷裁員並退出部分市場，欲藉此在2016年前省下4億美元。

雅芳還在評估規模較小、表現欠佳的市場業務，可能重組或關閉，雅芳去年就出脫Silpada珠寶子公司。雅芳在過去六季有五季出現淨損。

雅芳去年12月宣布裁員650人。

雅芳周一股價收挫1.7%，報14.69美元，今年來計跌15%，相較美股標準普爾500指數上漲6.2%。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）
