台灣之星 魏應交：提升覆蓋率

國內三大電信業者已經陸續宣布4G開台，目前只剩下台灣之星和國基尚未開台，台灣之星今天(24號)舉辦品牌發表會，強調會以最全面的覆蓋率來服務消費者。董事長魏應交還將台灣之星比喻為嬰兒，表示目前已經懷胎九月，等到滿十個月就可以準備誕生。台灣之星也宣布，將招募九百位員工，希望可以找到對電信產業有熱忱的人才。(陳葦庭報導)

各家電信業者紛紛宣布4G開台，而尚未開台的台灣之星也先舉辦了品牌發表會，希望搶先讓民眾認識新品牌。至於何時開台，董事長魏應交也以孕育胎兒的過程比喻台灣之星，強調目前已經歷經九個月的努力，滿十個月後就可以準備誕生。

而台灣之星總經理賴弦五則表示，台灣之星雖然不是首先開台的業者，但是會積極提升覆蓋率，讓消費者享有好的服務品質，而他更期許，年底以前4G的覆蓋率可以達到百分之九十五。

另外，台灣之星也表示，今年底以前將再開出九百個職缺，包含網路建置、行銷業務、工程師、客服等職務，以滿足開台後的需求，希望對於電信業有熱忱的人才可以把握這次機會。
