台灣之星4G開台 最快7月上路

﹝記者吳佩樺／台北報導﹞4G LTE電信業者台灣之星為開台做全力衝刺，昨日率先亮相品牌企業識別系統，找來台灣知名設計師黃嘉祥操刀門市人員制服，紫色為品牌色，象徵年輕和創意的形象。同時宣布和韓國電信商LG U+策略聯盟，進行網路優化、行銷等經驗傳承。

對於何時正式開台？董事長魏應交僅以「懷胎9個月，希望孩子足月生產」來帶過、不願鬆口，市場預估最快7月上路。此外，他指出4G LTE發展讓台灣行動通訊產業有了洗牌的機會，在極度飽和的情形下，不需要更大的業者，只要「更好的」，台灣之星以最好邁進。

總經理賴弦五也說，4G LTE競爭主要在於覆蓋率，沒有覆蓋率，不必談速度快慢。台灣之星佈建不會只集中於六大都會區，年底前可望達到全台95%人口涵蓋，3G除已升級HSPA+，將增加30%基站，讓4G LTE、3G擁有綿密訊號，室內、室外皆上網高速。

台灣4G LTE業者中，中華電信、台灣大哥大、遠傳電信現已開台，各家支援頻段不一。台灣之星標得900MHz，和中華電信一樣通過蘋果認證， iPhone 5s、5c用戶待開台時即可使用4G LTE服務。
