范佩西：要大力神盃而非金靴

目前以3球並列世足賽進球榜第1的30歲荷蘭隊長范佩西直言：「金靴獎與大力神盃相比，連1％也比不上！」荷蘭提前晉級16強踢出問鼎新希望，范佩西宣言，要以上屆決賽經驗帶小老弟們全力一拚國史的世足賽第1冠。

無疑的，英俊挺拔、連兩場出賽都進球的荷蘭隊長，是當紅的風雲人物。他在預賽首戰藉由隊友半場傳中，福至心靈的「超人式」飛身頂入一記距離球門17碼的頭槌進球，是1970年以來世足賽最遠的頭槌進球，也堪稱本屆目前最佳一槌。

范佩西是金靴獎熱門人選之一，他受訪被問到「獲得金靴對你來說會有多重要」時，說了一段激勵全隊的話語：「如果可以獲得金靴獎我當然高興，因為少有球員能擁有這項榮譽，」旋即話鋒一轉：「但和獲得大力神盃的渴望相比，連1％也比不上。」

包括上一屆在內，荷蘭隊3度打入世足決賽都以亞軍作收，被糗總是「伴娘命」，也參與上屆決賽的范佩西於是說：「『如果再來一次』，我們會更知道如何頂住壓力。相信我們會在巴西有不錯的表現。」

范佩西目前與隊友羅本、德國前鋒穆勒都以3球並列世足賽進球榜第1。上屆世足賽金靴獎得主穆勒在首役獨進3球，完成本屆賽會首次「帽子戲法」（世足史上第49次）；而范佩西因為領了兩張黃牌將無法在24日預賽對壘智利的「B組第1爭霸戰」出賽，因此還有2場預賽的穆勒競逐金靴獎處於優勢。
