憂泰軍政府逮捕 18萬柬埔寨外勞出走

由於擔心曼谷當局會嚴加取締非法移民勞工，大批柬埔寨勞工離開泰國，人數在今天(17日)達到18萬人。
在泰國新上台的軍事政權警告，非法的外國勞工將被逮捕和驅逐出境之後，這些平日在農業等泰國主要產業工作的柬埔寨外勞，開始大規模離境返鄉。
柬埔寨西北部班提米安夏省(Banteay Meanchey)省長沙洛耶(Kor Sam Saroeut)今天表示，從泰國返國、湧入波貝(Poipet)邊哨站的的柬埔寨人，光在1週就多達15.7萬人，而且人數還會再增加。
根據沙洛耶和另一名柬埔寨高層警官表示，還有大約2萬人在奧斯瑪(O'Smach)越過邊界，這是位於波貝東北方約250公里處的另一個邊哨站。
至於泰國軍政府則否認任何泰國迫使柬埔寨外勞出走的說法。泰國軍方在上週發生的一項警告中說，泰國視非法移民為一項威脅。
