吳敦義：綠色光電協助農業轉型

（中央社記者潘智義台北2014年6月17日電）副總統吳敦義今天在台北國際光電週致辭時表示，綠色光電產業促進農業發展，已見成效；20幾年前在南投縣長任內，埔里農民種茭白筍，就是成功的例子。

吳敦義說，埔里農民種茭白筍，日照是影響收成的關鍵，但日照無法長期穩定控制，所以農民用燈光取代日光，適時、適量照射，讓茭白筍可以穩定成長、供貨。

他指出，採傳統日照方式種茭白筍，無法控制日光，產量可能集中在特定時間，量大時價格不好；但市場有需求時卻又可能缺貨。

因此，農民透過燈光照射，用燈光「偷天換日」，提供茭白筍適時、適量的光照，茭白筍可以穩定供應市場，更可順利趕上熱門的農曆新年市場需求。

行政院農業委員會主委陳保基致辭時也表示，利用光電技術，讓農業加值，透過跨領域完成以往不可能完成的任務。
