Rubby De La Rosa先發7局無失分，紅襪在主場就靠A.J. Pierzynski的一支高飛犧牲打，1比0力克雙城。

今天Rubby De La Rosa只有在第三局被打出1支安打，3次三振，3個保送，加上後面3個後援投手，全場雙城只有打出3支安打。

Andrew Miller上場面對1人次，投出三振，Burke Badenhop解決掉兩個出局數，最後一局當然是交給上原浩治，本季第15次的救援成功，連續救援成功機會31場，上原都沒有失手。

雙城的先發投手Kevin Correia主投6局，被打出5支安打，兩次三振，1次保送，表現也不錯，但仍苦吞本季第8敗。

Rubby De La Rosa第二次在芬威球場先發，上一次在五月31日，他也是7局無失分，只讓光芒打出4支安打，另外兩次在客場的先發，他都是5.2局失4分。

紅襪則是在第五局，靠著Daniel Nava與Stephen Drew的安打，攻佔上三壘，再靠A.J. Pierzynski的高飛犧牲打，得到這場比賽的唯一一分。

雙城在第八局一度攻佔滿壘，但Burke Badenhop順利三振掉Brian Dozier，沒有失分，他個人連續局數無失分的紀錄，來到15.2局。

Rubby De La Rosa是因為Clay Buchholz的受傷，才被排進到紅襪的先發輪值，右膝受傷的Clay Buchholz，預定禮拜四在 3A投第二場的復健賽先發。
