宏達電高階平板將亮相

一年一度的Google I/O大會預計將在6月25日登場，Google除了將發表最新版Android作業系統之外，宏達電首度為Google開發的高階平板電腦，也可望在今年的大會中一併亮相，雙方睽違4年後再度攜手推出聯名硬體產品，效應值得觀察。

或許是為了滿足應用程式開發業者與工程師們的需要與好奇心，往年Google I/O十分技術導向，就算是向大眾揭露Android在智慧家庭的應用，Google工程師所想出來的東西也是只有工程師才覺得有用。

不過隨著Google前年在I/O大會中，以真人實境跳傘的方式讓Project Glass（也就是現在的Google Glass）初登場後，I/O大會的「宅」味有略微降低的趨勢，今年的I/O大會，備受注目新款硬體，莫過於下一代Nexus裝置。

市場預期，Google將在I/O大會中亮相新款Nexus高階平板電腦，是Google首款採用64位元處理器的平板，螢幕則在10吋左右，這不僅是宏達電首度與Google攜手合作平板電腦，更是宏達電睽違4年後，再度與Google聯名推出新款硬體產品。

今年Google I/O大會，預計將會推出新版的Android，但是因為以中國為首的新興市場，Google應用商店平台Google Play在當地不是無法使用、就是使用率低，Google即將推出的新版Android作業系統究竟是要走回頭路、重新拉高硬體規格門檻以因應蘋果iOS的逆襲，還是會進一步限縮Android的開放特性，值得觀察。
