坦克戒備 塞西就任埃及總統

〔編譯張沛元／綜合報導〕五月底在埃及總統大選中獲得壓倒性勝利的前軍事將領塞西，八日宣誓就任總統。儘管脫下軍服與透過民主程序執政，但塞西在前強人穆巴拉克下台後強力鎮壓反對派，不免令人擔心他的上台是否意味埃及將重回獨裁統治。

塞西稍後在總統府接見前來參加就職大典的外賓，並發表演說，呼籲努力工作，在負責任、不混亂的架構下發展自由…「建立更穩定未來的時刻已到來」。

八日因塞西就職而宣告成為國定假日，開羅街頭戒備森嚴，裝甲運兵車與坦克部署於重要據點。在反穆巴拉克抗爭的象徵性地標開羅獨立廣場，如今幾乎已不見抗議人士身影，反而有小販兜售印有塞西肖像的Ｔ恤。
