總冠軍賽第一戰最「火熱」的話題，就是馬刺主場AT&T中心球場空調故障。事隔一天，馬刺隊已經修好這個問題。

馬刺隊發出聲明：「空調系統經過測試，已經恢復運轉，我們會繼續監控。接下來，包括總冠軍賽第二戰在內的活動，都會如期進行。我們對於昨晚的狀況，非常抱歉。」

熱火這邊要求，如果再碰到類似問題，必須怒罰馬刺。

「那情況應該不會再發生了，」熱火教頭Erik Spoelstra說，「但我們可能會在第7戰碰到另一個問題，那就是場館溫度只有攝氏13度左右。要是出現這種情況，那該處罰一下。」

由於空調故障，總冠軍賽第一戰上演「火熱」對決，場館溫度飆破攝氏32度，小皇帝LeBron James吃不消，最後關頭抽筋退場，熱火輸球。

法國跑車Tony Parker希望，LBJ能夠回來，來場真正的對決。

「希望空調能修好，希望LBJ回來，我要跟真正的、二連霸的熱火隊對決，」Parker說，「希望LBJ的情況並不嚴重，百分百復原來打第二戰。我們希望能跟最強的對手較勁。」

馬刺教頭Gregg Popovich第一戰賽後開玩笑說，希望球隊快去付電費。一天後，記者問他，有沒有什麼確保空調順暢的妙招？

「我只知道，昨晚我離開球場時，遇到空調維修人員，然後我就送他們回家了。」Popovich回答。
