（中央社台北2014年5月20日電）彭博報導，消息人士透露，推特就併購或結盟音樂相關新創公司展開初步洽談，推特正想方設法拉抬用戶成長。

不願具名的消息人士指出，推特（Twitter Inc.US-TWTR ）相中的業者，其中一家為柏林音樂分享新創公司SoundCloud Ltd.。消息人士指出，洽談仍可能破局。

推特的業務發展團隊還與多家業者洽談結盟，其中包括加州極速音樂辨識應用程式SoundHound Inc.。

推特提供平台，讓網友彼此分享生活瑣事或聊天，現正與音樂相關公司洽談，欲招攬更多用戶。

總部位在舊金山的微網誌推特，吸引新用戶、光顧推特各項服務的能力已大不如前。推特第一季用戶量攀抵2.55億，較上年同期成長25%，但較上季減少30%。
