排廢水被停工 業者提改善計畫

（中央社記者邱俊欽桃園2014年4月15日電）桃園縣一家化學工廠排放強鹼廢水被勒令停工，但業者今天展現誠意，說明改善措施，重新獲得核發排放許可。

桃園縣政府環境保護局今天表示，台耀化學公司日前因排放強鹼，違反水污染防治法，被裁處停工處分。

台耀今天由董事長親赴環保局說明，說明工廠將投資新台幣上千萬元，進行廢水處理設備功能提升及工程改善。

環保局長陳世偉並組成專案小組，聽取簡報並進行估後，認為業者展現永續經營的誠意，重新核給廢水排放許可。

環保局也表示，台耀坦承在發生事故，未立即通報環保局，是公司管理層面及廢水專責人員職責上的重大疏失。

環保局也提醒業者，重新改善廢水處理設備，務必要求專責人員依規定操作；若再度違法，不排除再祭出停工處分。
