必和必拓Q3鐵礦砂產出超越預期

（中央社台北2014年4月16日電）彭博報導，全球最大礦業公司必和必拓（BHP Billiton Ltd. AU-BHP）指出，第3季鐵礦砂產出增加23%，超越分析師估計。

必和必拓聲明指出，第3季（截至3月31日）鐵礦砂產出達4960萬公噸，相較上年同期的4020萬公噸。彭博訪調4位分析師估計中值為4830萬公噸。

在金屬價格長達10年榮景式微後，礦商在經營獲利最豐事業的難度增加，必和必拓現將營運重心放在鐵礦砂和銅事業之上。鐵礦砂價格第3季跌落空頭市場，因中國大陸庫存創新高。

必和必拓執行長瑪肯西（Andrew Mackenzie）表示：「我們的生產力議題持續帶來亮麗的成績，支撐今年以來10%產出增長。」

盤前公布數據的必和必拓今天在澳洲股市下跌0.09澳元，報37.69澳元。（譯者：中央社徐睿承）
