基隆港西二、三倉庫保留現曙光！在30日落幕的「港埠再生與歷史保存」研討會中，基隆港務分公司總工程司魏震態度軟化，向在場專家學者、民眾表示，可利用西二、三倉庫活化為遊客中心，「都更要不要拆西二、三，可以再檢討！」

30日綜合研討由議長黃景泰主持，基隆港務分公司總工程司魏震、文化局長張建祥、文化部文化資產局古蹟歷建科長嚴淑惠等人討論。

魏震在2天研討會後態度似乎有所軟化，他表示，港區基於國安考量與相關法令限制下，無法完全開放，西二、三倉庫未來若要開放，必須要先修改法令。

魏震說，都更計畫中旅客中心就位在西二、三倉庫現址，若要保留，旅客中心就會利用原建物進行裝修，如此可兼顧保存與活化，新的辦公大樓可以不蓋，續用海港大樓辦公，都可再檢討。
